✦ YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how YaySite handles information when you use our website-building platform, landing site, and related services.
Last updated: September 8, 2026
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to YaySite, the public website at yaysite.com, the application at app.yaysite.com, and the services that let you import business information, create websites, manage Lead Capture, connect domains, and publish sites.
In this policy, “YaySite,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the YaySite service. “You” means the person or organization using the service. If you use YaySite on behalf of an agency or business, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
2. Information you provide
When you create an account or sign in with Google, we may receive your name, email address, profile identifier, and basic profile information needed to authenticate and manage your account.
You may provide Google Business Profile or Google Maps links, business names, categories, descriptions, services, addresses, phone numbers, hours, photos, reviews, website copy, logos, domain information, and other content used to create or edit a website.
If a visitor submits a form on a website created with YaySite, we process information in that submission—such as their name, email address, phone number, and message—so it can appear in the relevant workspace and be delivered to the notification destination configured by the website owner.
We receive information you send when you contact us. If paid plans are purchased, payment details are handled by our payment provider; YaySite generally receives confirmation and limited billing details rather than full card numbers.
3. Information collected automatically
We collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages or features used, approximate timestamps, referring pages, and error or performance data. We use this information to secure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
YaySite may use essential cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember settings, and maintain a reliable session. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information. Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, if introduced, will be described and handled as required by applicable law.
4. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; import and organize business details; generate, edit, preview, and publish websites; operate AI Chatbot and Lead Capture features; connect custom domains; provide support; process billing; prevent fraud and abuse; monitor reliability; communicate about the service; and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable, we rely on contract performance to provide the service, legitimate interests to secure and improve it, consent where we request it, and legal obligations where the law requires processing.
5. Business profiles and third-party services
When you provide a Google Business Profile or Google Maps link, YaySite may retrieve publicly available business details, photos, reviews, and related information through approved services or providers. You are responsible for having the right to use the information and for checking imported content before publishing it.
YaySite relies on infrastructure and service providers such as Supabase for authentication and storage, Vercel for hosting, Google for sign-in or business data where enabled, and email or payment providers where those features are used. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. When we share information
We share information with vendors that host, secure, authenticate, email, analyze, or otherwise operate YaySite; with professional advisers and authorities when legally required; and as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share private account or lead information with other YaySite customers. A website owner may choose to publish business information, testimonials, reviews, photos, contact details, or form destinations on a public website; that publication is controlled by the website owner.
7. Your role as a website owner or agency
If you use YaySite to build a website for a client, you are responsible for telling that client how their information will be used, obtaining permissions needed to publish it, providing legally required notices on the client website, and handling visitor requests relating to that client’s data.
YaySite provides tools for publishing content; it does not determine whether a particular business, review, image, form, campaign, or marketing claim is lawful or accurate.
8. Retention and security
We retain account, website, and operational information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain published websites, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the relationship with the account owner.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No internet service is completely secure, so use a strong password and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. You may also request that we stop sending non-essential communications.
To make a privacy request, email support@yaysite.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required by law or needed for security, billing, or dispute resolution.
10. Children and international use
YaySite is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
YaySite and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of YaySite after an update means the revised policy applies to future use.
Questions or requests about this policy can be sent to support@yaysite.com.
